Criminal Trespass 

An officer was dispatched to the 3300 block of Robinhood in reference to a criminal trespass that just occurred.  The resident advised an unknown individual entered their unsecured residence without consent. The resident confronted the individual, who then left the property. Officers located and arrested the individual, Seruhungo Nkurunziza, for criminal trespass.

Drug Paraphernalia 

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6700 block of Buffalo Speedway. Upon contact with the driver, the officer could smell an odor of marijuana emanating from or about the vehicle. A probable cause search led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia.

Theft 

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in reference to a theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered an unknown female suspect had taken packages from the victim's front porch without consent.

Warrant Arrest

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 5700 block of Buffalo Speedway. Upon contact with the driver, it was discovered the driver had outstanding municipal warrants. The driver was arrested and transported to jail without incident.

Auto Theft 

An officer was dispatched to the 2800 block of Robinhood in reference to an auto theft that already occurred.  Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect entered the vehicle in the early morning hours, taking the vehicle without consent.

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Tennyson. Upon contact with the driver, the officer could smell an odor of marijuana emanating from or about the vehicle.  A probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle which led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia.

Warrant Arrest 

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 3900 block of Riley. Upon contact with the driver and through investigation, it was discovered the driver has multiple outstanding multiple warrants with various agencies. The driver was taken into custody and transported to jail without incident.
