Through investigation it was discovered that the actual vehicle was not stolen, but the license plate displayed on the vehicle was connected to a stolen car. The license plate was removed from the vehicle and the driver was released. |

| An officer observed a vehicle failing to display a rear registration while traveling in the 6500 block of Weslayan. A traffic stop was conducted in the 6700 block of Stella Link. After further investigation, the officer discovered the driver of the vehicle had several open warrants for his arrest out of the West University Place Police Department and Houston Police Department. The driver was placed in custody without incident. |

Upon arrival Officers made contact with the suspect who displayed signs of intoxication. The suspect evaded from police on foot after being told they were detained. The suspect was placed under arrest and charges were filed.

| An officer was dispatched to a robbery in progress in the 3800 block of Browning. A suspect wearing a black hoodie and face covering grabbed items from the victim’s person while the victim was exiting a vehicle. The suspect then got into a vehicle and fled the scene.

An officer was dispatched to the 5300 block of Kirby in regards to a burglary that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect took items without consent.
An officer was dispatched to the area of the 5000 block Weslayan in regards to a stolen vehicle “HIT” from an Automated License Plate Reader. The officers later located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop in the 4200 block of Bellaire. The stolen vehicle failed to yield and a short pursuit ensued. The vehicle came to a stop in the 6700 block of Avenue B when all the occupants exited the stolen vehicle and evaded on foot. Officers were able to apprehend two suspects out of four without incident. The two suspects were charged with Evading on Foot.
