An officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Riley in reference to an auto theft that had already happened. Upon arrival it was discovered unknown suspects took a secured vehicle from the victim’s driveway without consent.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Rice. Upon contacting the driver, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver was detained while a probable cause search was conducted and led to the discovery of marijuana. The driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was released.

An officer was dispatched to the police station in reference to a forgery incident that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect forged a check to pay for a service they did not receive.

Evading

An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling at a high speed in the 6800 block of Stella Link. The suspect refused to stop, and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The suspects collided into a tree and proceeded to escape on foot. Officers eventually lost sight of one of the suspects and the other was located, identified and taken into custody. The juvenile suspect was charged for Evading Arrest on Foot and released to their parental guardian.

Animal Bite

An officer was dispatched to the 5600 block of Community in reference to a barking dog call. Upon arrival, Officers observed several dogs at large near the roadway. As the officer attempted to capture the loose dogs, one of the dogs bit a resident who was assisting with the dogs. All dogs were captured and transported to the West University Place Dog Kennel and the owner was issued citations.

An officer was dispatched to the 6700 block of Stella Link in reference to a burglary of a vehicle that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect opened the victims back door, grabbed an item, and immediately left the parking lot.

Possession of Paraphernalia  

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 5900 block of Rutgers. Upon contacting the driver, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver and the passenger were detained while a probable cause search was conducted and led to the discovery of marijuana. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the passenger had a warrant. The passenger was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia and was taken into custody for her warrant. The driver was issued citations for No Operator License, Expired Registration, no Liability Insurance and released.
