An officer observed a burglary of a motor vehicle in progress in the 2900 block of Lafayette. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle but it fled, leading officers on a pursuit. Officers eventually lost sight of the vehicle, and the pursuit was terminated.

An officer was dispatched to the 6400 block of Rutgers in reference to a theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect took an item from the victim’s vehicle without consent.  Through investigation, officers were able to locate the stolen item. It was successfully recovered and returned to its rightful owner.
