At about 7:58 PM an officer observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 6700 block of Buffalo Speedway with a defective tail light. A traffic stop was conducted and after further investigation, the driver as found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was issued citations and released from the scene without incident.

|Possession of Dangerous Drug
|At about 10:48 AM an officer observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 6500 block of Buffalo Speedway at a high rate of speed. The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and upon approach of the vehicle, could smell a strong odor of marijuana emanating from within the vehicle. The officer located drug paraphernalia and illegal drugs while searching the vehicle.
|At about 7:55 PM an officer was dispatched to the 7800 block of Katy Freeway to pick up a prisoner in custody with three outstanding West University Place warrants. The prisoner (Timothy Taylor) was transferred to the West University jail facility and booked without incident.
|At about 11:03 PM an officer observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the 4200 block of Bissonnet with an expired vehicle registration. A traffic stop was conducted and after further investigation, the driver as found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

|At about 11:27 AM an officer was dispatched to the PD lobby for a complaint of fraudulent activities. It was reported that someone opened an account and forged a check using the victim’s information.
At about 8:01 PM officers were dispatched to a business in the 3900 block of Bellaire Blvd, in regards to a criminal mischief incident that had just occurred. The officers located the suspect and a criminal trespass warning was issues to the suspect for the business.
|At about 11:12 AM an officer was dispatched to the PD lobby in regards to found property. The reportee said they found a vehicle key on the ground (in the area of Academy and Tennyson).
|At about 5 PM an officer was dispatched to the PD lobby to meet with a business owner concerning fraud.
|At about 9:28 PM an officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Bissonnet St. in regards to a report of a burglary of a motor vehicle that had already occurred. An officer met with the complainant who stated that an unknown person(s) entered the secured vehicle without the owner’s consent. Property was taken.
