An officer was dispatched to the 11000 block of Southwest Fwy in reference to an officer from an outside agency who had a subject detained with outstanding warrants with the West University Place Police Department.  Upon arrival, the officer took custody of the subject and was transferred to West University Place Jail for booking.

An officer was dispatched to the 5400 block of Kirby for a theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect(s) took merchandise from the stores counter without consent.

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in reference to a forgery that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect forged and cashed the victims check without permission.

An officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of Nottingham in reference to Found Property. Upon arrival, the officer took custody of the item for safe keeping.

An officer was dispatched to the 3100 block of West Holcombe Blvd in reference to a robbery in progress. Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered an unknown suspect took an item from the victim without consent and fled the scene prior to police arrival.

An officer was dispatched to the 2800 block of Jarrard St in regards to a minor accident that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown operator of a vehicle collided with a parked vehicle causing damage. The vehicle fled the scene failing to stop and give information.

An officer was dispatched the 5800 block of Kirby in regards to an Assault that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that a disturbance took place between two individuals and the aggressor had already left the scene prior to police arrival.

Virtual Gate Hit
The virtual gate systems alerted an officer to a vehicle listed with warrants traveling in the 4000 block of Browning, where a traffic stop was completed on the vehicle. Through investigation it was discovered the suspect driving the vehicle had outstanding warrants and was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The suspect was taken into custody.

Evading 

An officer observed a suspicious vehicle in the 2900 block of Pittsburgh. The officer attempted to make contact with the driver, but the driver sped off in an attempt to flee the area. A pursuit was initiated and ultimately ended after the suspect’s vehicle had major mechanical failure. A felony traffic stop was conducted and subsequently the driver, Alexander Moore, was taken into custody and charged with evading. The driver does have criminal history for:

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Villanova. Upon contact and through investigation, the driver was found to be in violation of several traffic violations and was subsequently taken into custody.

An officer was performing a traffic stop in the 4400 block of Bissonnet. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the suspect was in possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

An officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Amherst in regards to a burglary of a building that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect entered an unsecured building and took items without consent.
