| Pursuit
| An Officer observed a vehicle run a red light at the intersection of West Holcombe and Buffalo Speedway. A traffic stop was initiated in the 3100 block of Holcombe for the violation. The officer attempted to make contact with the driver, but the vehicle fled the scene and a pursuit was initiated. The suspect’s vehicle came to a stop in the 3100 block of Holcombe and the driver was taken into custody without incident. The driver (Samuel Johnson-Awosanya) was charged with evading in a motor vehicle and unlawful carrying of a firearm. The suspect was transported to the West University Jail and was later charged with Assault on a Peace Officer. | An officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Talbott in reference to an identity theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect gained access to the victim’s identity and used their personal information to open a loan without consent.

| An officer observed a vehicle traveling in the 6700 block of Weslayan with a defective break light. A check of the vehicle registration revealed the vehicle was stolen. A high risk traffic stop was attempted at which point the two occupants fled from the vehicle on foot. A search of the surrounding area led to the arrest of two juvenile suspects. The driver was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Evading, and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. The passenger was charged with Evading.

During observation of the vehicle it was noticed that the occupants of the vehicle were asleep, but when awoken they appeared to be intoxicated. The occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody for public intoxication.
