An officer was dispatched to the 4000 block of Bellaire for a theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect took items without consent.

An officer observed a vehicle in the 6200 block of Wakeforest run a stop sign. The officer initiated a traffic stop in the 3200 block of University. Upon investigation it was discovered the driver showed signs of intoxication and appeared to be in danger to himself/others if left alone. The driver (Mckines, Wendell) was taken into custody for a DWI. The driver has a previous criminal history of:

Assault 

An officers was dispatched to the 6700 block of Rutgers, in regards to an assault, which had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered the suspect charged at the victim. The suspect was issued a citation for assault and a criminal report was generated.

An officer observed a vehicle in the 5200 block of Buffalo Speedway with an expired vehicle registration. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the suspect was in possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

DWI

 

An officer observed an individual in the 3000 block of Rice standing in the street leaning against a vehicle. The officer tried to make contact with the individual, who was stumbling and slurring their speech, when the individual then got into their vehicle and drove away. The officer then initiated a traffic stop and upon investigation it was discovered the driver showed signs of intoxication and appeared to be in danger to himself/others if left alone. The driver (Hooper, Adam Scott) was taken into custody for a DWI. The driver has no previous criminal history.

An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 3600 block of Rice. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the suspect was in possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

An officer observed a vehicle in the 4200 block of Bissonnet with heavily tinted windows. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the suspect was in possession of a handgun. The driver was taken into custody for unlawful carrying of weapon.

An Officer observed a vehicle traveling an excessive speed in the 5300 block of Kirby Dr. A traffic stop was initiated in the 5200 block of Kirby Dr and charges were filed with the Harris County District Attorney's Office for Reckless Driving. The driver was arrested and a report was generated.

Recovery of a Vehicle 


An officer observed a vehicle in the 4200 block of bissonnet displaying a temp tag and a defective headlight. A traffic stop was initiated and during investigation it was discovered the vehicle was stolen and the driver was detained without incident.

An officer was dispatched to the 5600 block of Kirby for the theft of a motor vehicle part that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown person(s) stole a catalytic converter from underneath the victim’s vehicle without consent.

An officer observed a vehicle in the 4100 block of Bissonnet with an expired vehicle registration. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the suspect was in possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a handgun. The driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful carrying weapon.

An officer responded to a call in regards to a suspicious person in the 2700 block of Centenary. During further investigation, it was discovered the two suspects were in possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
