An officer was dispatched to the 6600 block of Belmont in regard to a minor accident that had already occurred. The victim said an unknown person operating a vehicle struck their parked vehicle and left without giving any information in the 4200 block of Bellaire.

Identity Theft 

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department Lobby in regard to an identity theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect attempted to sell property owned by the victim in Oregon without consent.

Warrant Service 

An officer was dispatched to the 4500 block of Medinah to pick up a subject for outstanding warrants with the West University Place Police Department. Upon arrival, the officer obtained custody of the subject who was then transferred to the West University Place Jail for booking.

An officer performed a traffic stop in the 5300 block of Buffalo Speedway. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the suspect was in possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Class C Traffic Violations  

An officer performed a traffic stop in the 3800 block of law. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the driver was driving without a Drivers License. The driver (Miguel Garcia) was subsequently taken into custody for the class c offenses of running a stop sign, no front license plate, no operator’s license, failed to stop designated point-stop sign, and failed to display current registration.

The driver (Miguel Garcia) has a previous criminal history of Unauthorized use of a Vehicle.

An officer performed a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Duke. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the suspect was in possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Theft 

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department Lobby in reference to a theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered a contractor had taken money from the construction loan and was not using the money for the project.
