Theft 

An officer was dispatched to the 3400 block of Tangley in regards to theft that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect took items from a construction site without consent.

Suspicious Activity 

An officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of University Blvd. in regards to suspicious activity that already occurred. Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered an unknown suspect entered an unsecured residence and moved items without consent. It was determined no items were removed from the scene.

An officer was dispatched to the police station lobby in regards to an ID Theft that already occurred. Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered and unknown suspect used the victims personal information to apply for a residential lease.

An officer was dispatched to the 3800 block of Bellaire in regards to a theft that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect removed an auto part from a vehicle without consent

Drug Paraphernalia 

An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 6500 block of Weslayan. Through investigation, it was discovered the driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia.

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 5400 block of Academy in regards to a traffic violation. Through investigation, it was discovered the driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia.

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 5500 block of Wakeforest in regards to a traffic violation. Through investigation, it was discovered the driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia.

BMV 

An officer was dispatched to the police station lobby in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred. Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered an unknown suspect entered an unsecured vehicle to took items without consent.

Possession of Fictitious/ Altered Driver's License 

An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 4200 block of Bissonnet. Upon contact with the driver and through investigation, it was discovered the driver, Lizaya Hood, was in possession of a fictitious driver’s license.  The driver was taken into custody and charged with possession of a fictitious/ altered driver’s license.  The driver has no previous criminal history. 
4.12.2222-0162Minor Accident- FSGI An officer was dispatched to the police station lobby in regards to a minor accident that already occurred. Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered an unknown operator of a vehicle collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle causing damage. The vehicle fled the scene and failed to stop and give information. 
4.12.2222-0163Possession of Controlled Substance An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 5600 block of Weslayan. A probable cause search led to the discovered of drugs. The driver, Cedrick Myers, was subsequently taken into custody and charged with possession of controlled substance. The suspect does have criminal history for possession of marijuana, theft from person/elderly, assault family/ house member impeding breath, and violation of protective order. 
4.12.2222-0164Evading An officer witnessed a burglary of a motor vehicle in progress in the 4100 block of Swarthmore. The officer attempted to stop the burglary and the suspect began to evade on foot. The officer apprehended the suspect without incident. Six other suspects in a nearby stolen vehicle began to flee the scene. An additional officer observed the fleeing vehicle and attempted to initiate traffic stop.   The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated. The short pursuit ended after the vehicle struck a light pole. All six occupants/suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot. With the assistance of other agencies to include a k-9 unit and a helicopter, a total of four juvenile suspects were arrested and charged with evading.  The criminal history amongst these juveniles consist of prior charges for theft, aggregated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary of a motor vehicle, and burglary of a habitation.
