11/12/202121-0774Identity TheftAt about 9 AM, an officer was dispatched to the PD lobby in reference to an Identity Theft call. The complainant stated an unknown person used his home address in an attempt to join his vehicle insurance policy. Information was gathered and a report was generated

At about 11:15 AM, an officer was dispatched to the PD lobby to speak with a complainant who stated that an unknown person(s) forged and cashed two of her personal checks. Information was gathered and a report for Forgery was generated.

At about 11:25 AM, an officer was dispatched to the 6300 block of Buffalo speedway for a theft that already occurred. It was reported that someone took items while working in the home. Information was gathered and a report was generated.

11/12/202121-0777Criminal MischiefAt about 12 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 6700 block of West Point for a report of Criminal Mischief. It was reported that someone punched the driver side mirror of the victim's vehicle. Information was gathered and a report was generated.
11/13/202121-0778BMVAt about 5:10 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Tangley to speak with a victim who stated that an unknown person(s) burglarized their motor vehicle. Information was gathered and a report for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle was generated.
11/13/202121-0779Drug ParaphernaliaAt about 8:26 PM an officer observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the 4200 block of Bissonnet with an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 4500 block of Bissonnet. After further investigation, the driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was issued a citation and all contraband was seized.

At about 10:34 PM, an officer observed a vehicle in the 3300 block of University Blvd. traveling eastbound at high rate of speed 35/25 mph posted zone. The Officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 3200 block of University Blvd. Upon the officer approaching the vehicle to made contact with the driver, the vehicle took off at a high rate of speed and begin to evade. Officers pursued the vehicle. The suspect vehicle then came to a complete stop in the 2500 block of W. Holcombe and driver (Zoe Chang) was taken into custody for evading in a motor vehicle.

11/14/202121-0781Auto TheftAt about 11:35 AM, an officer was dispatched to the 6500 block of Westchester for a theft that already occurred. It was reported that someone had stolen their vehicle. Information was gathered and a report was generated.
11/15/202121-0783Identity Theft

At about 12:47 PM, an officer was dispatched to the PD lobby in regards to an unknown person(s) opening a line of credit without permission.

11/16/202121-0784Minor Accident/FSGIAt about 5:41 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 6300 block of Sewanee for a (FSGI), Failure to Stop and Give Information that had already occurred. The victim stated that an unknown person(s) had side swiped her vehicle and failed to stop and bring it to her attention.
11/16/202121-0785BMVAt about 11:10 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of University in reference to a delayed burglary of a vehicle report. An unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle and removed several items without the effective consent of the owner. The victim’s credit card was also fraudulently used at multiple stores. An offense report for Burglary of a Vehicle and Credit Card Abuse was generated.
11/17/202121-0786Identity TheftAt about 11:30 AM, an officer was dispatched to the PD lobby to speak with a complainant, in regards to their identity being stolen by unknown person(s). Information was gathered and a report for identity theft was generated.
11/17/202121-0787Minor Accident/FSGIAt about 12:56 PM, an officer was dispatched to 5600 Kirby, in regards to a failure to stop and give information call. The victim stated an unknown driver struck his vehicle and did not leave their contact and insurance information. Information was gathered and a report was generated.
