An officer was dispatched to the police department in reference to a victim being harassed over text message. It was found that the victim has been receiving threats by text message from a known suspect.

An officer was flagged down on the 6100 block of Auden in reference to a theft that had already happened. Upon arrival it was discovered an unknown suspect took an item from a construction site without consent.

An officer conducted a traffic stop on the 2600 block of Gramercy.  Upon contact with the driver, the officer saw signs of intoxication. A standard field sobriety test was initiated, and the driver Jorge Garcia Cortes was taken into custody and charged for Driving While Intoxicated.  

Jorge Garcia Cortes does not have a previous criminal history with Harris County.

Warrant Service

An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6300 block of College. The officer observed a cyclist traveling with a bicycle with flat tires and extra parts. Upon contact, it was discovered that the cyclist had warrants with a local agency. He was placed into custody and transported to a rendezvous point in exchange of custody.

Warrant Service/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Swarthmore. It was found that both the driver and passenger had warrants with neighboring agencies. One of the agencies took custody of the driver and the passenger was taken into custody and transported to the West U Jail for processing. While the vehicle was being inventoried for impoundment, drug paraphernalia was located within the vehicle.
