Upon investigation, it was discovered the suspect was having a mental breakdown. The suspect as transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

| 12/19/2021 | 21-0843 | Theft | An officer was dispatched to the police station lobby in regards to a theft that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered the victim received a text message from a phone number claiming to be the victims boss. The boss requested the victim to purchase several gift cards. The victim purchased and provided the details of the gift cards to the boss via text. The victim later discovered it was a scam and the text was fraudulent. |
| 12/19/2021 | 21-0844 | Assault | Officers responded to the 4100 block of Oberlin in regards to an assault that just occurred. Upon arrival and through investigation, the victim did not want to pursue charges against the suspect. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office declined charges and both parties involved were separated without further incident. |

| 12/21/2021 | 21-0845 | Virtual Gate Hit | Officers were dispatched to the 6300 block of Kirby in regards to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and conducted a high risk traffic stop. Through investigation, it was discovered the vehicle was an un-returned rental car. The renter was not in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop. The vehicle was recovered and the Harris County D.A. declined charges against the driver. |

| 12/24/2021 | 21-0848 | Assault | Officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of Bellaire in regards to an assault that just occurred and the suspect had left the location. Upon arrival, it was discovered the suspect assaulted an employee at the location after the suspects card was declined multiple times.

| 12/25/2021 | 21-0850 | Possession of Controlled Substance | An officer made contact with a suspicious person in the 5300 block of Kirby. Subject was identified and found to have several active warrants with various local agencies. The warrants were confirmed and the suspect was taken into custody. A search of the suspect lead to the discovery of drugs and multiple government identifying documents not affiliated with the suspect. The suspect was charged with possession of controlled substance.
