|An officer observed a disable vehicle in the 6000 block of Kirby. During further investigation it was discovered that the owner of the vehicle had 3 active warrants with West University Place Police Department. The suspect was taken into custody for the warrants
The virtual gate systems altered officer to a stolen vehicle traveling in the 3200 block of Bellaire. A high risk traffic stop was completed on the vehicle in the 6800 block of Academy. The driver (Cedric Devall Kiser) was ultimately taken into custody for unlawful use of a motor vehicle. The passenger of the vehicle was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
