An officer was dispatched to the 5400 block of Kirby in regards to an active burglary alarm. Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered an unknown suspect forced entry into the building, took items without consent, then fled the scene.

11/16/202121-0790Animal at Large An officer was dispatched to the 2800 block of Sunset in regards to an injured animal. Upon arrival, the officer was able to obtain and transport the animal to a veterinarian clinic for an evaluation.

An officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of W. Holcombe in regards to a one car major accident.  Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered the operator of the vehicle displayed signs of intoxication.  The driver, Mary Winters, was taken into custody and charged with DWI.

11/24/202121-0795Virtual Gate Hit/ UUMV

Officers were dispatched to Holcombe// Belmont in regards to a Virtual Gate Hit of a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a high risk traffic stop.  Upon investigation, it was discovered the driver was in possession of counterfeit money, drug paraphernalia, and identifying documents. The driver, Yessica Garza, was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.

11/24/202121-0796BMVOfficers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Barbara Ln. in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred. An unknown suspect(s) entered an unsecured vehicle and took items without consent.

An officer was dispatched to the 3800 block of Marquette in regards to a harassment case. The victim received several repetitive phone calls from scammers which caused the victim to feel threatened.

Officers were dispatched to Belmont//Holcombe in regards to Virtual Gate Hit of a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a high risk traffic stop. The driver, Darrell Wright, was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.

11/29/2121-0803Forgery 

An officer was dispatched to the police station in regards to a forgery that already occurred. An unknown suspect(s) altered and cashed the victim’s check without consent. 


11/29/2121-0804Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information 

An officer observed a suspicious vehicle in the 5700 block of Mercer with the license plates belonging to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle for the violation.  A consent to search led to the discovery of multiple documents/property belonging to various residents. Through investigation, it was discovered the suspect had burglarized vehicles on the street and in garages taking items without consent.  The Harris County District Attorney’s Office declined charges for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle or Burglary of a Habitation due to no witness or cameras showing the suspect committing the criminal act.  The suspect, Nolen Bearden, was subsequently arrest on the Class C traffic violations: Failure to Display Current Registration. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office later accepted one count of Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information against the suspect.

11/30/2121-0806Public Intoxication An officer was dispatched to the 5800 block of Arnold in regards to a welfare check on an individual who was laying on the sidewalk. Upon arrival and through investigations, it was discovered the individual was intoxicated. The suspect was charged with public intoxication.  
12/01/2121-0807Forgery An officer was dispatched to the 2800 block of Nottingham in regards to a forgery that already occurred.  An unknown suspect(s) manufactured checks using the victim’s business account information and attempted to used them at various locations without consent.
12/1/2121-0808I.D. Theft An officer was dispatched to the 6500 block of Westchester in regards to an ID Theft that already occurred. An unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s personal information to open a business account without consent.
12/1/2121-0810Minor Accident-FSGI An officer was dispatched to the 2900 block of Plumb in regards to an accident that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown operator of a vehicle struck a parked vehicle causing damage, then fled the scene. The suspect failed to stop and give information.
