An officer was dispatched to the 5700 block of Wakeforest in regard to a minor accident that had already occurred. The witness said an unknown person operating a vehicle struck a parked vehicle and left without giving any information.
An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department Lobby in regard to an individual needing to speak with an officer. The officer discovered the individual had multiple outstanding warrants with an outside agency. The individual was taken into custody and transported to Harris County Jail.
Burglary of Residence
Officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Amherst St. in reference to a Burglary of a Residence that had just occurred. The suspect burglarized the resident's vehicle and then utilized the garage remote inside to gain entry into the home. The resident was awoken and startled the suspect, who then fled on foot. The suspect was later located and arrested for Burglary of a Residence
An officer was in the 2600 block of University and noticed a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle that had already occurred. During the investigation, it was discovered an unknown person(s) entered the unsecured vehicle and took personal belongings without consent.
An officer was dispatched to the 3800 block of Bellaire in regard to a trespasser. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the suspect had already been issued a criminal trespass warning. The individual (Bobby Johnson) was taken into custody and charged with Trespassing.

Officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of Bellaire in regard to a virtual gate camera system alert regarding a stolen license plate. Officers located the vehicle and conducted an investigation in the 4400 block of Bellaire. It was found that the plates did not belong to the vehicle and the vehicle was listed as stolen. The driver (Shannon Brantley) was detained and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle.
The driver (Shannon Brantley) has a previous criminal history of Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
