An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department for an identity theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect used the victim’s personal information to open a loan without consent.

An officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of Rice for a forgery that had already occurred. Upon arrival, an unknown suspect was discovered to have used the victim’s credit/debit cards to make unauthorized charges.

Public Intoxication 

An officer observed an abandoned vehicle in the 4000 block of Bellaire. The vehicle sustained heavy damage and appeared to have been in a wreck. Officers located the owner of the vehicle at a local restaurant. The owner displayed signs of intoxication and had visible injuries. The owner was given a citation for public intoxication and was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

An officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Southwest Freeway in reference to an officer who had a subject detained for outstanding warrants with the West University Place Police Department. Upon arrival, the officer obtained custody of the subject who was then transferred to the West University Place Jail for booking.

Robbery 

Officers were dispatched to the 4100 block of University Blvd. in regard to an aggravated robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect robbed the victim at gunpoint in front of their residence. The suspect then fled the area in a vehicle with the victim’s personal property.
