21-0721Stolen Vehicle 

A WUPD officer assisted a neighboring agency in the pursuit of a stolen vehicle.  The suspect lost control of the vehicle and wrecked. The suspect was subsequently apprehended.


An unknown suspect(s) entered an unsecured vehicle and took items without consent.

10/14/202121-0723Warrant Arrest

A traffic stop led to the discovery of the driver having multiple West University Place warrants. The driver was arrested without incident.

A victim received threatening messages from an unknown suspect.

10/17/202121-0727Warrant Arrest 

A traffic stop led to the discovery of the driver having multiple felony warrants. The driver was subsequently taken into custody without incident.

An unknown suspect(s) removed items from a residence while the property was under construction. 


A suspect posing as an employee of a computer software company was allowed remote access to the victim’s personal computer. The victim’s personal information was compromised.


Police were called to the 5500 block of Kirby in regards to a fraud in progress. Officers learned a suspect attempted to cash a fraudulent check but left prior to police arrival.

Police responded to the 6700 block of Stella Link in regards to a suspect attempting to cash a fraudulent check. The suspect left the scene prior to police arrival.  
10/19/202121-0733Fraud A suspect cashed a fraudulent check and withdrew the funds before the check was discovered fraudulent.
10/19/202121-0734Dog Bite Dog jumped and bit a passerby while being walked on a leash.
10/20/202121-0735Forgery  An unknown suspect(s) stole, forged, and cashed the victims check without consent.
10/20/202121-0736Drug ParaphernaliaA traffic stop led to a probable cause search. The driver and passenger were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
