Officers arrived to find that the accident was a head on collision with no injuries. | 08/31/2021 | 21-0627 | Burglary of Motor Vehicle | At 12:05 AM an officer observed a vehicle in the 4200 block of Bissonnet traveling eastbound with a defective headlight (driver side). The Officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon the Officer making contact with the driver the Officer observed a green leafy substance on plain view. While the Officer detained the driver to conduct a PC search on the vehicle, the front seat passenger moved to driver side seat and drove off in the vehicle. The vehicle and the male subject (William Alexander) was located in the 3800 block of Northwestern and was taken into custody for evading on a motor vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the 6300 block of Kirby. Once the vehicle came to a complete stop, two males exited the vehicle and began to evade on foot.
