During the investigation, the suspect (Kerdija Charles) provided false identifying information and was additionally charged with Failed to Identify-Fugitive.

Officers located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 6600 block of Buffalo Speedway. The driver attempted to elude officers for approximately 1 mile but eventually stopped. Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop in the 3900 block of Bellaire Blvd and the driver was detained without incident. After further investigation, it was discovered, that the driver (Jose Ardon) showed signs of intoxication and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. The driver (Jose Ardon) has no previous criminal history. |
