1.21.23 11:46 PM | 23-0042 | Warrant Arrest | An officer was performing a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Byron. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the suspect had outstanding warrants with Missouri City. The driver was placed into custody for the warrants without incident. |
1.22.23 3:33 AM | 23-0043 | Drug Paraphernalia | An officer observed a vehicle in the 2700 block of Robinhood with its lights off during nighttime hours. A traffic stop was conducted in the 5400 block of Kirby. After further investigation, officers discovered the driver to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and the passenger of the vehicle had several open warrants out for his arrest. The driver (Ronald Jerome Chevis) was placed in custody for the traffic violation and for the drug paraphernalia discovered in the vehicle. The passenger was arrested for open warrants. The driver (Ronald Jerome Chevis) has a previous criminal history of: Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon Assault Robbery Criminal Mischief |

1.22.23 9:20 PM | 23-0045 | Ordinance Violation | An officer was dispatched to the 2800 block of Sunset Blvd. in regard to an ordinance violation. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the property owner. The owner refused to ID and became combative towards the officer while attempting to flee the scene. The owner (Oscar Zuniga Rivera) was subsequently taken into custody and charged with failure to ID. A second individual (Paul Bennie) on the scene was also taken into custody and charged with interfering with police duties. Both individuals have no previous criminal history. |
