To register for any of these activities, please visit the Community Building, or call 713-662-5895, and our friendly and helpful staff will register you for the activities of your choice. Please call to inquire about session start dates!  To view all programs and classes Senior Services has to offer, click on the Fun Over 50.

Yoga

Promotes flexibility, balance and inner calm by coordinating breath and movement.

When: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8:30 a.m.

Tai Chi 

Exercise that tones, strengthens, and improves balance and posture. 

When:  Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.

Water Aerobics

These classes are a great way to get in shape without the impact on your joints by doing exercises out of the pool.

When: Mondays and Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m (with Shavon)
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:15 a.m. (with Paula)

Zumba

Join this energetic class that will have you moving and grooving your way to a healthier and fitter lifestyle. Instructor: Ronelle Meikleham

Chair Volleyball

More fun than you can possibly stand, while seated.  Come enjoy this fun-filled game played with a beach ball.  

When: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.

Line Dance

Learn the steps in this fun class that will put a smile on your face and a kick in your step.

When: Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m.

Best Stretch

In this class you will do a combination of exercise techniques that include, Pilates, Yoga, Deep Breathing and Stretching. Available in person or a Zoom option.

Boost your mood, stretch, strengthen, balance and rejuvenate on the mat, with a Kripalu certified instructor.

Hatha Yoga

Foundational Hatha Yoga promotes flexibility, balance and inner calm by coordinating breath and movement. Bring yoga blocks for added benefits.

Body Pump

This standing and sitting combo will increase your heart rate and get you feeling energized and accomplished.

Early Risers

This instructor-less class is designed for those interested in warming up getting the body moving early in the morning.
