Dedicated volunteers help the staff achieve program goals by:

• Volunteering to teach a new skill, class, or interest group

Good Neighbor Team

A group of caring and concerned neighbors give back to their community by offering friendships and assistance to home bound senior residents. Their focus is to assist seniors as friends and good neighbors by:

• Acknowledging special occasions with cards and small gifts
• Making occasional telephone contact or home visits
• Providing resources and referral information

West University Place Handymen

Through the Senior Services Office, volunteer handymen assist homebound and disabled seniors with minor home repair and odd jobs around the house.
