Overview
MISSION STATEMENT: Advise City Council of issues that are of concern to seniors and make recommendations regarding facilities, services, and programs. Collaborate with and guide West University Senior Services to enhance the quality of life for West University seniors.
The Senior Services Board is provided for under City ordinance. The West University Place Senior Services Board is a volunteer body of 15 members chartered by the City with the purpose of seeking ways to maintain and improve the quality of life that senior residents of our community enjoy. Several committees of the board offer volunteer opportunities for residents to be involved.
The board advises the City Council of issues that are of concern to seniors and makes recommendations regarding facilities and programs.
