Are outdoor lights from neighboring yards an intrusion on the enjoyment of your property?
Do you believe outdoor lighting is a widespread problem throughout the City?
Should the City enact regulations for exterior lights that cannot be seen from a public street or sidewalk?
Should the City consider limiting the number of fixtures on the exterior of a home that does not face a public street or sidewalk?
While we believe most issues can be resolved by neighbors through talking, installing timers for lights, motion sensors or turning lights off by a certain time, the Zoning and Planning Commission would like to hear feedback from everyday residents to see if intervention by the City is necessary. If you would like to share your thoughts on this issue, please send an email to the City Planner, Debbie Scarcella at email@example.com or call 713-662-5839. All comments and suggestions will be provided to the Zoning and Planning Commission for their consideration.
