SCADA Improvement Project

Overview

Due to the deterioration of the City’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system that is used to monitor and remotely control the City’s sewer system this project will upgrade and replace the City’s SCADA system. This system is critical for the city’s 12 lift stations. This upgrade will allow the SCADA system to meet the current hardware and software standards while providing the City with a reliable sewer collection system that can be maintained in the future.

Project Timeline

2022

  • May 9 - Council awarded the contract to Concentric Integration, LLC 
  • May 25 - Kick Off Meeting held with Concentric and City Staff
  • October - Finalization of project design 

2023

  • January - Start of installation
  • March - Anticipated substantial completion
