Requirements for Driving Safety Course Request
This form allows you to make your request for Driver's Safety Course Dismissal. This does not guarantee you that you will be granted this option. After you submit this form online the Clerk will email you the information on the amount of the fee and how to pay the fee. PLEASE DO NOT pay prior to receiving the email from the Clerk. Your request will be reviewed by the court and you will be contacted once a determination has been reached on your eligibility.
Please Note:
When the Judge grants my request for Driver's Safety Course Online, I understand and agree that per the provisions of Article 27.14(c) of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure that I will be entering a plea of GUILTY or NO CONTEST and WAIVING MY RIGHT TO JURY TRIAL. I further understand and agree that in the event that I fail to comply with the terms of my Driver's Safety Agreement, the Judge will find me guilty of the offense and a conviction will be reported on my driving record with the Department of Public Safety.
Upon approval of the Driver's Safety Course, failure to comply with the conditions set out will result in a judgment of conviction and you will then be required to pay the applicable fine. Failure to pay the applicable fine will result in a warrant for your arrest.

By checking the "I ACCEPT" box below, I state under oath that on the date of my request for a driving safety course/motorcycle operator training course in the above numbered cause that I was not taking such a course nor had I completed one within the 12 months preceding the date of my current offense that is not known on my driving record as maintained by the Texas Department of Public Safety (or as maintained by the state that issued my driver's license - active duty military personnel only)
