An officer was dispatched to the 2900 block of Robinhood in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect entered a secured vehicle and removed items without consent.

Found Property
An officer was dispatched to the West University Place police Department Lobby in reference to Found Property. Upon arrival, the officer took custody of the item for safe keeping.

Identity Theft
An officer took a report over the phone in reference to an identity theft that had already occurred.  Upon further investigation it was discovered an unknown suspect gained access to the victim’s identity and used their personal information to open an account without consent.

Suspicious Person
An officer was dispatched to 6300 block of Buffalo Speedway in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, officers located the individual and conducted an investigation. It was discovered that the suspect gave a fictitious name and date of birth and had outstanding municipal warrants through the Houston Police Department. The suspect was arrested and charged with Failure to Identify-Fugitive.

Virtual Gate Hit
The virtual gate systems alerted an officer to a stolen vehicle traveling in the 6800 block of Stella Link. Officers located and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The suspect traveled at a high rate of speed causing the officers to lose sight of the vehicle resulting in the termination of the pursuit.

Drug Paraphernalia
An officer was conducting a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Bissonnet. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the suspect was in possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

An officer was dispatched to the 3500 block of Georgetown in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect entered an unsecured vehicle and removed items without consent.

Suspicious Activity

An officer was dispatch to the 3600 of Rice Blvd in regards to suspicious activity. The witness advised that an unknown suspect was observed pulling on car doors in the area. The witness advised that the suspect entered a vehicle and fled the location. Officers observed that vehicle in the 5900 block of Academy and conducted an investigatory stop. During the subsequent investigation officers determined that both occupants were attempting to break into vehicles. 

Both suspects were arrested and charged with attempted BMV.

The Driver of the vehicle (OCHOA, JOSE ANGEL) has a criminal history of:
