Auto Theft

An officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Barbara Lane in reference to an auto theft that had already occurred in the 6400 block of Annapolis. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect entered an unsecured vehicle with keys in the ignition and took the vehicle without consent.

Animal Bite

An officer was dispatched to the 3700 block of Farber in reference to an animal bite that had already occurred in the 3700 block of University Blvd. The complainant stated they were bitten by a dog being walked by their teenage owner.  Attempt to contact the dog’s owner was made.

Theft

An officer was dispatched to the 3400 block of Bissonnet in reference to a theft that had already happened. Upon arrival it was discovered a suspect took mail out of the mailbox from a business without consent.

Warrant Arrest

An officer was dispatched to meet with an outside agency who had a subject detained with outstanding municipal warrants through WUPD. Upon arrival, the suspect was taken into custody and transported to the West U Jail for processing.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 5400 block of Buffalo Speedway. Upon contact with the driver, the officer detected an odor of marijuana emanating from or about the vehicle. A probable cause search led to the discovery of marijuana. The driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Assault

Officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Amherst in reference to a disturbance that was in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that a physical altercation had taken place, resulting in injuries. The suspect Christina Murphy was arrested and charged with assault bodily injury. 

 

Christina Murphy does not have previous criminal history with Harris County.

Interference with Public Duties

An officer was dispatched to 6500 block of Mercer in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle in progress by two unknown suspects. Upon arrival, the officer was able to locate one of the suspects that was described looking into the reportee’s vehicle, the second suspect fled on foot. The suspect Ivan Bradshaw became combative while being detained. With the help of multiple officers, Bradshaw was taken into custody and charged with Interference with Public Duties. 

 

A perimeter initiated with the assistance of neighboring agencies to include K-9 and police helicopter support to search for the suspect who fled the area. After a thorough search, it was determined there was no indication the second suspect was in the vicinity. Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident in order to identify the second suspect. 

 

Ivan Bradshaw does not have previous criminal history with Harris County.
