Virtual Gate Hit 

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of University Blvd and Buffalo Speedway in reference to a Virtual Gate Hit regarding a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located, and a traffic stop was conducted. The occupants of the vehicle were detained. After investigation, Officers discovered narcotics in the vehicle and the driver was found to have an active warrant. The driver, Daniel Nava, was placed into custody for the warrant and the passenger, Miranda Cline, was placed in custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

The driver has previous criminal history in Harris County for possession of a controlled substance.

An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6800 block of Kirby Dr. Upon contact with the driver and through investigation, it was discovered the vehicle was displaying fictitious temporary tags. The driver, Mohammed Alogaidi, was arrested and charged with Tampering with a Government Record.

An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Plumb. Upon contact with the driver, the officer detected an odor of marijuana emanating from or about the vehicle. A probable cause search led to the discovery of drugs and a handgun. The driver, Marc Morales, was arrested and charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon.

The individual was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrants and transported to WUPD Jail for booking.

A field sobriety test was administered and the driver, Milan Sheth, was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.
