Hot diggity dog! West U residents and their families are invited to join the Parks and Recreation Department on Thursday, April 24, at the Colonial Park West End from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the completion of recent improvements. Light refreshments, hot dogs and all the fixings will be available.
Staff worked with the Parks and Recreation Board in an effort to encourage more utilization at the west end of Colonial Park. This project was identified as part of the 2025 Capital Improvement Program. New tree lighting, colorful children's and adult furniture, artificial turf (Byron side), new sod, fence repairs and fence painting make the area more inviting for all ages.
