July is Parks & Recreation Month!!
This month the West University Place Parks and Recreation Department is celebrating with the theme Where You Belong for Parks and Recreation. All month long we’ll be highlighting ways our community is stronger, more vibrant, and more resilient because of parks and recreation.
Join West U for Parks and Recreation Month, as we celebrate how West University Place is a catalyst for positive change in service equity, and overall health and well-being because of parks and recreation. A variety of activities are planned for residents of all ages and abilities — including Independence Day Parade to kick off Parks and Recreation Month and the Sugar Rush at Whitt Johnson Park to end the month-long celebration.

July 4: Parade and Pool Party 9am-Noon Colonial Park Pool
July 10: Hotdogs on the Grills 5:30-7:30 pm Judson Park
July 17: Ice Cream on a Hot day 5:30-7:30pm Colonial Pavilion
July 27: West U Olympics 7:30-9:30pm Colonial Park Pool (Members Only)
July 31: Sugar Rush at the Park 5:30-7:30pm Whitt Johnson Park
