City offices and the West University Place Recreation Center will be closed Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. There will be no curbside trash, recycling, or yard waste collection on this day. Recycling and yard waste normally scheduled for Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday, July 5. Please hold your trash until your next regularly scheduled day, Friday, July 7.

The bike parade will line up at 8:45 a.m. in front of West U Elementary and begin promptly at 9 a.m.
The pool party at Colonial Park Pool will begin at 9:15 a.m. and will include games, bounce houses, and lots of fun! More information can be found online at, www.westutx.gov/parks.
