Registration for National Night Out has officially opened! This year’s event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 4 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.Residents interested in hosting an event should fill out the registration form available at www.westutx.gov/nno. Registration will close Monday, September 19, or when spots have filled.
National Night Out is a national effort to develop local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit, and bridge the gap between police and the community. Residents are encouraged to lock their doors, turn on their porch lights, and gather with their neighbors to show unity against criminal activity. Residents can host a variety of special events such as block parties, swimming parties, and cookouts.
