The design phase for the Buffalo Speedway project is nearing completion. The City is hosting the final public meeting to provide an opportunity to review and comment on the plans to the City and Engineering staff.

Key components of the Buffalo Speedway Reconstruction Project include:
- Removal and replacement of the roadway pavement between Bissonnet Street and West Holcombe Boulevard.
- Installation of box culverts to improve drainage from Bissonnet Street to south of West Holcombe Boulevard to connect to the Poor Farm Ditch.
- Replacement of traffic signals at Rice Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, and University Boulevard intersections.
