The West U Parks and Recreation Department has installed updated signage in our parks to remind visitors that motorized vehicles are not permitted in these areas. This includes, but is not limited to, electric scooters, electric and pocket bikes, one-wheels, go-karts, and similar devices.
This initiative was led by the Parks and Recreation Board and supported by the City Council to prioritize resident safety by reducing potential hazards in public spaces.
