The West University Place Police Department is proud to announce the launch of its first ever Citizen Police Academy—an exciting 8-week program designed to give residents a behind-the-scenes view of law enforcement operations. The academy starts July 31 and will meet once a week.
From patrol procedures to investigations and 911 communications, each session will dive into a different aspect of police work through tours, hands-on activities, and discussions with officers.
Whether you’ve always been curious about police procedures or simply want to learn more about how your department functions, this program offers a unique and informative experience.
