Evading Arrest With a Motor Vehicle/ Failure to Stop and Render Aid

An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling at a high speed in the 3400 block of Duke. The suspect refused to stop and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The suspect vehicle conducted evasive maneuvers, collided with other vehicles and fled on foot. At the conclusion of the pursuit, the driver was taken into custody without incident and charged with Evading Arrest Detention w/Vehicle and Failure to Stop and Render Aid. The suspect Austin Tran has no previous criminal history in Harris County.

An officer observed a vehicle parked with the driver door open in the 5800 block of Community Drive. Upon contact, the officer observed a male to be slouched over the center console. Signs of intoxication were evident, and the subject was taken into custody for Public Intoxication.

Fraudulent Use Possession of Identifying Information/ BMV

An officer was dispatched to the 6300 block of Community Dr. in reference to a suspicious person pulling on the door handles of vehicles. The officer observed the suspect matching the description, identified and detained the suspect Stephanie Yomsarn. The suspect was found to be in possession of various identification cards and credit cards. Yomsarn was charged with Fraudulent Use Possession of Identifying Information and Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.

An officer was dispatched to the police station in reference to an identity theft incident that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect used the victims personal information to open an account without consent.

Warrant Arrest

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6400 block of Buffalo Speedway. Upon contact with the driver, the officer detected an odor of marijuana emanating from or about the vehicle. A probable cause search led to the discovery of marijuana. Further investigation revealed the driver had outstanding municipal warrants. The driver Cornika Jefferson was taken into custody and arrested for the warrants. Jefferson has no previous criminal history in Harris County.
