An officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Bissonnet in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect forced entry into the vehicle and took items without consent.

Disturbance  

Officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Bissonnet in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, it was discovered the aggressor/suspect left the scene. Officers located and detained the suspect. Upon investigation, it was discovered the suspect had an outstanding felony warrant. Upon search a search of the suspect, drugs were located. The suspect, Marcus Ritchie, was arrested for the warrant and additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance. 

Marcus Ritchie has previous criminal history in Harris County for theft (x6), possession of a controlled substance, attempted auto theft, and possession of marijuana.

Virtual Gate Hit 

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Bissonnet/Buffalo Speedway regarding a virtual gate hit for a wanted person. Upon arrival, an officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Upon contact, the driver was arrested for the warrant without incident.

Minor Accident-FSGI 

An officer was dispatched to the 6300 block of Sewanne in reference to a minor accident that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown driver of a vehicle collided with a parked vehicle causing damage. The vehicle fled the scene without providing information as required by law.

Tampering with Governmental Record

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Jarrad. Upon contact with the driver and through investigation, it was discovered the driver had an outstanding felony warrant. Further investigation revealed the vehicle displayed a fictitious temporary tag. The driver, Benjamin McGhee, was arrested for the warrant and additionally charged with tampering with governmental record. 

Benhamin McGhee has previous criminal history in Harris County for unauthorized use of a vehicle and evading.

Public Intoxication 

An officer was dispatched to the 6700 block of Stella Link regarding a vehicle stopped in a moving lane of traffic. Upon arrival, the driver was found asleep behind the wheel. An odor of an acholic beverage emanated from the vehicle. The driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for public intoxication.

Officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Marquette regarding a verbal disturbance in progress. Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered both parties were involved in a physical altercation. The Harris County District Office declined charges against either party. Both individuals were cited for Class C assault and were separated.

Officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Cason in reference to a verbal disturbance in progress.  Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered both parties were involved in a physical altercation. The Harris County District Office declined charges against either party. Both individuals were cited for disorderly conduct-fighting and were separated.

Officers were dispatched to the 6700 block of Stella Link regarding a burglary of a motor vehicle in progress. Upon arrival, officers located and detained the suspect. Through investigation, it was discovered the suspect had burglarized multiple vehicles in the area. The suspect, Trace Kirk, was arrested and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle.

Trace Kirk has previous criminal history in Harris County for criminal trespass and retaliation.

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in reference to a dog bite that just occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered a dog jumped out of a vehicle and bit the victim’s dog while walking in the 3900 block of Arnold.

An officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Bellaire Blvd. in reference to a fraud incident. Upon arrival, it was discovered that a former employee of a business made unauthorized transactions using the company’s banking information.
