The Recycling Event scheduled on Saturday, May 4, will be relocated to the City of West University Place’s old Recycle Center located at 5004 Dincans St. This does not impact the time of the event or the materials being collected. From 9 a.m. – noon, residents may drop off paper, E-waste, mattresses, household metals, and textiles.
Residents are encouraged to enter Dincans Street from Bissonnet Street. Please refer to the map.

The following items will be accepted:
- Paper (limited to 5 banker boxes per household)
- Mattresses
- E-Waste, which includes computers, laptops, printers, DVD players, and game consoles
- Household metals such as cookware, faucets, metal furniture, sinks, etc.
- Textiles – Used clothing, shoes, and other household linen.
- Hazardous household waste such as chemicals, paint, and batteries are not accepted at this collection event.
