Dear Rec Center Members & Customers,
The West University Place Recreation Center Pool will be closed Thursday, June 8, starting at 11:00 a.m. to facilitate maintenance to the pool. The pool will remain closed for the remainder of the day. All activities (classes, lessons, lap swim, open swim, etc.) will be canceled during this time. We expect the pool to reopen per regular operations on Friday, June 9 at 11:00am. Please call the Rec Center at 713-662-7420 to receive updated operational status before you come for your swimming class/lesson or workout.
All other classes and camps will be held as scheduled and services including the cardio/weight room and racquetball courts are available during regular operating hours while the pool is closed.
Also, the Recreation Center swimming pool will be closed this Sunday (June 11), starting at 12:00 pm and remain closed the remainder of the day. The West U Piranhas swim meet originally scheduled on June 5 was canceled due to inclement weather, and the make-up meet will be held during this time.
