An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department Lobby in regard to a Burglary of a Residence that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect entered the residence and took items without consent.

An officer was approached by an individual in the 2600 block of Carolina Way. During the conversation, it was discovered the suspect was in possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Forgery

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department Lobby in regard to a Forgery that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect forged the victims banking information onto a check and attempted to cash it without consent.

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department Lobby in reference to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle that had already occurred.  Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown person(s) entered the vehicle and took personal belongings without consent.

Warrant Arrest  

An officer observed a vehicle speeding in the 3100 block of University. A traffic stop was conducted and after investigation, it was discovered the passenger had an outstanding warrant with an outside agency and the driver and the other passenger were discovered to be in possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The passenger was taken into custody and transported to Harris County Jail.

An officer was dispatched to the 4900 block of Weslayan in reference to an officer who had a subject detained for outstanding warrants with the West University Place Police Department. Upon arrival, the officer obtained custody of the subject who was then transferred to the West University Place Jail for booking.

Public Intoxication

An Officer was dispatched to the 3900 block of Villanova in regard to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was discovered the suspicious person was highly intoxicated. The suspect (George Blount) was placed in custody for Public Intoxication without incident.

The suspect (George Blount) has no previous criminal history.

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department for an identity theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect used the victim’s personal information to open an account without consent.

Officers were flagged down at the 3700 block of University. Officers arrived and determined that an assault had occurred, due to injuries on the victims. The suspect was cited for assault with contact and issued a criminal trespass warning.
