The City of West University Place is committed to promoting sustainable living and reducing waste in our community. We are happy to announce that two vendors are working with West U to provide food waste diversion services for residents.
The City has vetted two qualified vendors for food waste disposal: Moonshot Composting and Zero Waste Houston. Both vendors offer a composting service where they will collect food scraps and other organic materials from your home and drop them off at a facility that will turn them into a nutrient-rich product. Both companies are fully licensed and insured, and meet all necessary regulations and standards. We encourage all residents to consider using these vendors for their food waste collection needs.
