Mayor Susan Sample will deliver her State of the City address before an audience of residents and community leaders on Thursday, January 12. The address will be held at the Community Building located at 6104 Auden St. and will begin promptly at 6 p.m.
“I’m looking forward to sharing with the community everything we accomplished in 2022,” said Mayor Sample. “This is going to be a great opportunity for residents to get a better understanding of the work that goes into keeping our city one of the best places to live.” Additionally, Mayor Sample will highlight 2023 projects and initiatives that the current City Council has set into motion.
From matters related to investment plans in the City’s drainage, facilities, and water and sewer infrastructure, to the planning of the City’s 100-year celebration, attendees will gain a better sense of the city’s direction.
City Council members and city staff will be available before and after the presentation to answer questions and engage with residents.
