Warrant Arrest

An officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Emory in reference to a suspect who was found to have West University Warrants. Upon arrival, the suspect was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

Criminal Mischief

An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Arbuckle, in reference to a criminal mischief that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect had tampered with the victim’s lawn and had caused damage without consent.

Traffic Stop 

An officer observed a vehicle traveling down the 4200 block of Bissonnet with an expired registration. The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. During, the traffic stop the suspect refused to sign the traffic citation and was taken into custody.

Virtual Gate Hit

The virtual gate systems alerted an officer to a stolen vehicle traveling in the 3900 block of Bellaire, where a high risk traffic stop was completed on the vehicle. Through investigation it was discovered the vehicle was stolen and subsequently recovered.

There is an ongoing investigation to the report with an outside agency.

Identity Theft

An officer was dispatched to the 3800 block of University Blvd. in reference to an identity theft that had already occurred.  Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect gained access to the victim’s identity and used their personal information to open a bank account without consent
