An officer was performing a traffic stop in the 4200 block of Bissonnet. During, the traffic stop it was discovered the suspect was in possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

An officer was dispatched to the 3200 block of Sunset in reference to Found Property. Upon arrival, the officer took custody of the item for safe keeping.

An officer was performing a traffic stop in the 3900 block of Arnold. During, the traffic stop it was discovered the suspect was found to be unlawfully carrying a weapon.

Found Property 

An officer was dispatched to the 3800 block of University in reference to Found Property. Upon arrival, the officer took custody of the item for safe keeping.

Warrant Service

An officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of Dickson Rd in reference to an officer from an outside agency who had a subject detained with outstanding warrants with the West University Place Police Department.  Upon arrival, the officer took custody of the subject and was transferred to West University Place Jail for booking.

Evading 

An officer with the West University Place Police Department conducted a traffic in the 5800 block of Weslayan on a white colored vehicle for a traffic offense. The vehicle attempted to evade police, but the suspect was ultimately placed into custody.

Auto Theft

An officer observed a vehicle attempting to maneuver out a driveway by driving through the front yard of the residence in the 2600 block of Cason. The officer made contact with the driver and found the vehicle had just been stolen. The individual was detained and contact was made with the residents who advised they did not give consent for the individual to drive their vehicle. The individual was arrested for Theft of a Motor Vehicle.

An officer was dispatched to the 3700 block of Sunset in regards to an animal bite incident that had already occurred. Upon arrival, the victim stated a small brown dog ran up behind them and bit them in the leg. The owner of the dog was given a citation.
