The West University Place Police Department has become aware of a series of trainings taking place through February 12th involving the Department of Defense, Houston Police Department, and Federal Law Enforcement agencies. While the exercises are not within West U city limits, residents may hear loud noises or see helicopters while the training is conducted. Training times and locations were not disclosed by the agencies involved.
