12/02/2121-0813BMVAn officer was dispatched to the 5400 block of Kirby Dr. in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred.  Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect(s) entered a vehicle and took items without consent.
12/02/202121-0814Evading 

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for speeding in the 4200 block of Bissonnet.  The vehicle failed to stop and continued at a high rate of speed.  A vehicle pursuit was initiated and eventually ended in the 2500 block of Bissonnet. The suspect, Salvador Martinez, was arrested and charged with evading.

An officer was dispatched to the police station lobby in regards to a fraud that already occurred. Upon arrival, the victim advised she received a phone call from a suspect claiming to be an Amazon representation. The representative/suspect advised the victim their amazon account was being hacked and the issue could be revolved if the victim paid a particular amount of money in the form of gift cards.

12/03/202121-0817Warrant Arrest A West U Officer met with an outside agency who had a suspect detained for outstanding warrants with West University Place. The West U Officer took custody and transported the suspect to the West U Jail for booking without incident.
12/04/202121-0818Forgery An officer was dispatched to the 5400 block of Community Dr. in regards to a forgery that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect(s) use the victim’s personal information to create and cash fraudulent checks.
12/05/202121-0821Forgery An officer was dispatched to the 5800 block of Buffalo Speedway in regards to a forgery that already occurred.  Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect(s) altered and cashed the victim’s check that was placed within a mailbox.

A West U Officer met with an outside agency who had a suspect detained for outstanding warrants with West University Place. The West U Officer took custody and transported the suspect to the West U Jail for booking without incident.

An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Arbuckle in regards to a theft that just occurred. An unknown suspect took items from the bed of a truck without consent.

12/08/202121-0824Theft 

An officer was dispatched to the police station lobby in regards to a theft that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered the victim ordered an item on-line and never received the product.
