The contractor for the Buffalo Speedway project will begin work tomorrow, March 23, 2021 north of Amherst St. to make preparations for improvements to the new water line. The waterline work will be within the City’s Right of Way (ROW) on the east side of Buffalo Speedway. For the safety of motorist and construction crews, this work will require the partial closure of the outside northbound lane of Buffalo Speedway. The lane closure will be done three (3) blocks at a time and expected to last 4 weeks each time until the work is complete. Inclement weather may delay progress.
Site restoration will be scheduled upon the completion of all waterline work.
