Kevin Trautner and his wife of 25 years have lived in West
University Place for 24 years, raising two children. Kevin was the Chief Legal
Officer and member of the senior executive team of an oilfield services company
for four years. Prior to that, Kevin was a corporate associate and then Partner
in several major Houston law firms for over 20 years, advising companies on
mergers and acquisitions, securities law and governance. Kevin also served for
six years as Secretary of the Houston Chapter of the Texas General Counsel
Forum. Kevin has been active in West U issues and attending West University
Place Council meetings since mid-2018, and has served as Mayor Pro-Tem since
June 2019. Kevin received a BS from Notre Dame, an MD from Vanderbilt and a JD
from the University of Virginia.
